Brown Bag Lecture: Wildland Fire

12:00 pm — 1:00 pm

Fire is a natural part of most ecosystems, and can be a destructive force to human settlements. This month our speaker is Michael Tully, and he will be delving into the complicated world of wildland fires.

Michael Tully is a Battalion Chief with the Midland Fire Department. He will be covering the pros and cons of fires, how they start, how to prepare, and much more.

He will also be bringing some of his field equipment, including a type 6 wildland truck! Don't miss this very special Sibley Brown Bag.
