Sibley Youth Family Garden Winter Lecture with Irene Perry (Class is Full)

Irene Perry from UTPB will speak about; A Healthy Eco- System; We will explore and discuss what an ecosystem is in an ecological context looking at the different levels (population, community, ecosystem, landscape, biosphere). We will investigate factors of a healthy ecosystem and services that an ecosystem provides.  Irene Perry is a Biology Lecturer at The University of Texas Permian Basin. Her background is in ecology. She principally teaches and coordinates introductory biology lectures and labs. She loves to share the wonder of life. She helps students to recognize and understand concepts they already have observed.  She hopes that students will appreciate new phenomena in themselves and the living world around them. Irene Perry has a BA in Biology (minors: Chemistry; Spanish) and MS in Plant Physiology from Texas AM University.  Registration for ages 5-18.  Class is full.
